Victoria Ritah Nalule is an attorney who is an Energy and Mining expert and consultant with extensive experience working on various projects in different areas of the world. She has more than ten years of experience in Energy law, Mining law, and international arbitration and has written many books in this field. Her working area covers various topics such as energy, oil, mining, gas, renewable energy, climate change, transparency, and governance issues. She completed her master’s degree in Petroleum and Mining Law and Policy in 2014 and her doctorate in International Energy Law and Policy in 2018. She is currently Chief Consultant at Nalule Energy and Mineral Consultancy, Founder and Executive Director in Africa Energy and Mining Management Initiative, and visiting lecturer at various universities. She knows English and Ugandan languages.


Munkhnaran MUNKHTUVSHIN

Munkhnaran Munkhtuvsin completed her L.L.B at the National University of Mongolia  and then completed her Master’s Degree at Nagoya University. She has been doing PhD program at Nagoya University since 2020. Between 2016 and 2018, she worked as an administrative specialist at Mongolian Arbitration Center. Majoring in public private international law, Munkhtuvshin currently tutoring undergraduate students on International Commercial Arbitration at Nagoya University. She is fluent in Turkish, Japanese and English.


Syed Muaz SHAH

Representative for Pakistan

He received his LLB degree at the University of London in 2018. During his career, he took various positions in various reputable companies. He is working as a Legal Consultant for various reputable companies currently. Also, he is a member of, International Bar Association, Amnesty International, YIAG, HRCP, Pakistan Institute of International Affairs, YMI, YAG. He can speak English, Urdu, Russian, Partial Arabic, German, Chinese.


Khushboo SHAHDADPURI

Khushboo is a Senior Associate in Al Tamimi & Company’s Arbitration department.  She is a dual qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Singapore and the State of New York. Khushboo’s practice focuses on international dispute resolution. She has represented conglomerates, state entities, employers, contractors and sub-contractors in construction, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, real estate, corporate and shipping disputes. Her experience includes international arbitration matters under the ICC, SIAC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC, LMAA, QICCA and ad-hoc arbitration proceedings under the UNCITRAL rules.  Khushboo regularly advises clients in complex, multi-party and high value construction and infrastructure disputes in the region she operates. Her expertise lies in construction and infrastructure projects where there has been delay, defective works, termination, cessation and/or variation, amongst others. In her arbitration matters, she has worked with experts from a number of disciplines, such as Delay, Quantum, Structural, MEP and Architectural.  She also has extensive experience in dealing with arbitration matters under both civil law (namely Qatari, UAE, Swiss and German law) and common law (namely UK, Singapore, Malaysia, DIFC) and has worked with barristers and Queen’s Counsels on a number of her cases. Khushboo also has extensive experience in arbitration related litigation matters, such as withdrawal and enforcing arbitral awards before the courts in England, Singapore, Switzerland, DIFC, Dubai, QFC and QatarKhushboo is a committee member in the Young SIAC group and part of the SIAC user’s council. She also serves as Assistant Editor of Kluwer Arbitration Blog, founding member of the UAE department of ENERAP, part of the MENA sub-committee for the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations and vice chair of the Academic Council of REAL (Racial Equality for Arbitration Lawyers).
